Himalaya Vibes is a family-run business founded in 2021 by me (Kunsang) and my husband (Karma) in the heart of Bern's old town. Rooted in Tibetan heritage and Himalayan craftsmanship, we connect cultures through authentic products from Tibet, India, and Nepal.

Our brand stands for connection, compassion, and conscious living. Every product we offer carries a deeper meaning – preserving centuries-old traditions while supporting the people and communities behind them. Our mission is simple:

All our products are carefully selected and sourced directly from artisans, small family workshops, and Tibetan refugee communities in India and Nepal. We work closely with local producers who use traditional techniques, natural materials, and handcrafted methods passed down through generations.

We believe in ethical, slow, and sustainable trade. This means we avoid mass production, respect fair prices, and prioritize quality over quantity.

About the Nepal wool collection

OUR STORY

2021 — The beginning in Bern

We opened our first small shop in Bern's old town with the dream of sharing Tibetan culture and healing products with the world.

2023 — India & Bodhgaya

We traveled to Bodhgaya, India, where we met Tibetan nuns living without a stable income or institutional support. Their simplicity, compassion, and dedication to serving humanity deeply touched us—and changed the direction of our mission.

Today — Growing with Purpose

We continue to expand our network with Tibetan refugee camps and artisans in India and Nepal. As our business grows, so does our commitment to giving back and supporting those who live with dignity, humility, and service.
