Tashi Delek and a warm welcome! I'm Kunsang, and Tingsha cymbals have been with me since my childhood in Tibet. Their clear sound was used during prayers, meditations, and ceremonies to focus the mind and create a moment of stillness. Even today, I rejoice every time someone in our shop strikes the first note of a cymbal and for a moment, everything else fades into the background.

Tibetan Tingsha Cymbals – Sound from the Himalayas

Tingsha cymbals have been part of Tibet's Buddhist tradition for centuries. They mark the beginning and end of a meditation, accompany prayers, and help bring the mind back to the here and now. At Himalaya Vibes in Bern, you'll find carefully selected cymbals in various sizes and with traditional motifs – from simple, polished models to the mantra Om Mani Padme Hum, and even Tibetan dragons and the eight auspicious symbols (Tashi Tagye).
