Warmth, tradition & craftsmanship from the heart of Nepal

The "Lhotse" Nepal mittens are thick, hand-knitted winter gloves – inspired by traditional Nepalese knitting patterns, but genuinely handcrafted in Nepal. Each pair is made in small family knitting workshops around Panauti, Banepa, and Shakhu. No two pairs are alike – each pair is truly unique.

🐑 Thick sheep's wool & warm lining
Hand-knitted on the outside from robust Nepalese sheep's wool, softly lined on the inside:

  • warm, natural outer wool
  • soft inner lining for extra comfort
  • ideal for wind, snow & winter cold
  • breathable and reliably warm at the same time

The perfect combination of traditional look and modern comfort.

🎨 Traditional Nepalese design – vibrant & full of character
The “Lhotse” displays classic knitting patterns, as they have been made in Nepal for generations:

  • harmonious color combination: dark wine red, cream white, grey/taupe
  • wide, alternating stripes in white and grey
  • fine, horizontal wine-red stripes
  • Fair Isle or Jacquard patterns in the white stripes with heart-like or abstract motifs
  • Dark burgundy ribbed cuffs for an optimal fit
  • separate thumb in a simple grey tone
  • soft inner lining for extra protection and warmth

A notice:
Since each pair of mittens is knitted by hand, there may be slight differences in the pattern or color transitions – each pair is unique with its own personality.

💛 Fair, local & meaningful
