The "Mero" Nepal Beanie is a classic, hand-knitted beanie – minimalist, timeless, and incredibly warm. Crafted with careful handwork in small family knitting businesses around Panauti, Banepa, and Shakhu. Each hat is unique with its own structure and character.

Material & Warmth

Hand-knitted on the outside from robust Nepalese sheep wool, softly lined with fleece on the inside – for natural, warm outer wool, extra comfort from the cozy inner lining, and reliable protection against wind, snow, and winter cold. Soft, breathable, and reliably warm, with an elastic ribbed cuff for a perfect fit – the perfect combination of minimalist look and maximum thermal performance.

Design & Pattern

The "Mero" features a classic knit pattern, as it has been crafted for generations in Nepal: an upper part in a plain knitted structure (stockinette stitch) and a ribbed edge (1x1 or 2x2) for elasticity and stability. The handcrafted, round beanie shape fits snugly and provides reliable warmth – ideal for everyday wear, winter hikes, or city strolls.
