This open bangle is made of brass and features four artfully coiled spirals symmetrically arranged around the narrow base. Two of the spirals are set with a turquoise, whose vibrant blue with characteristic fine veins adds a strong splash of color. The ends of the bangle are adorned with a delicate cord winding, giving the piece an additional handcrafted accent.

With an inner diameter of approx. 8 cm, the bangle is highly adaptable and can be easily shaped to fit various arm circumferences. Weighing 30 grams, it rests comfortably on the arm. At Himalaya Vibes, you can find it in two finishes:

Meaning & Tradition

Turquoise is one of the most significant stones in the Tibetan and Himalayan regions – hardly any other stone is as closely associated with the jewelry tradition of this area. Its vibrant blue is traditionally linked to protection and well-being. Together with the spiral shape, which represents the continuous cycle of life, this bangle becomes a piece of jewelry with a genuine story of origin for me.

Worn on the upper arm, the interplay of metal and stone unfolds a strong, earthy presence – the spirals draw the eye, while the turquoise gives it a luminous, blue focal point.

Care & Use

As it is brass with a natural stone, I always take off the bangle when showering, bathing, or applying lotion so that both the surface and the turquoise remain beautiful for a long time. To adjust, bend the bangle slowly and carefully, not abruptly, so as not to stress the stone's setting.
