Warmth, craftsmanship & colorful design from the heart of Nepal
The "Sundara" Nepalese gloves are traditional full-finger gloves, hand-knitted in small family-run knitting workshops around Panauti, Banepa, and Shakhu. No two pairs are alike – each is a unique, one-of-a-kind item.
🐑 Thick sheep's wool & cozy lining
Robust Nepalese sheep's wool on the outside, softly lined on the inside:
- warm, natural outer wool
- soft fleece lining for extra comfort
- ideal for cold weather, wind and snow
- breathable and reliably warm
🎨 Traditional design – colorful & full of character
The gloves feature classic knitting patterns that have been made in Nepal for generations:
- geometric Fair Isle/Jacquard patterns on the back of the hand
- Fingertips and fingers alternately striped in color.
- strong, harmonious color combinations
🌈 The three variants
Deep red
Deep dark red for palm and lower finger area, white and grey striped border with geometric pattern on the back of the hand, fingers alternating dark red, light grey and cream/white.
Petrol
Dark petrol/forest green for palm and lower finger area, white and grey striped border with geometric heart/hook pattern on the back of the hand, fingers alternating dark green, light grey & cream/white.
Red
Primarily red for the palm, white and black striped border with geometric stair/hook pattern on the back of the hand, fingers alternating red, cream/white & dark blue/black.
A notice:
Since all gloves are knitted by hand, slight differences in the pattern or color transitions may occur – each pair is unique with its own personality.
