The "Timbu" Nepal hat is a classic, hand-knitted Nepalese hat with ear flaps – inspired by traditional Chullo/Andean designs, but genuinely handcrafted in Nepal. Each hat is made in small family knitting workshops around Panauti, Banepa, and Shakhu. No two are alike – each hat is truly unique.

Hand-knitted on the outside from robust Nepalese sheep's wool, softly lined on the inside:

🎨 Traditional Nepalese design – vibrant & full of character

The “Timbu” features classic knitting patterns, as they have been made in Nepal for generations:

• Bright earth tones: orange, ochre, red, natural beige
• Jacquard/Fair Isle pattern in multicolored stripes
• Long ear flaps for optimal protection against the cold.
• Twisted wool braids with tassels for tying
• decorative tassel on the top of the hat
