Kunsang

“Dzambhala stands for abundance and prosperity – a popular gift for a new home or a fresh start. The thangka is ready to hang.”

Yellow Dzambhala Thangka Scroll

This thangka shows Yellow Dzambhala (Jambhala), the deity of abundance and prosperity. He sits in a relaxed pose on a lotus seat in front of a green halo, holding a fruit in his hand and a mongoose spitting jewels in his lap – a symbol of wealth. Around him: blue sky, peonies, mountains and offerings.

Brocade, Silk and Rods

The printed image is set in a brocade frame with a yellow-orange ground and green-blue patterns. Red silk ribbons and a yellow silk apron at the top add accents. A rod with orange ends sits at the bottom, and the back is made of red cotton fabric. The red hanging cord is already attached.
