This open bangle is made of brass and adorned with a characteristic, twisted grooved structure that gives the light different highlights along its entire length. The two ends simply taper into small spheres – without a clasp, but with the open, flexible design that makes these bangles so versatile.

With an inner diameter of approx. 9 cm and a weight of only 25 grams, it can be easily adjusted and is equally suitable as an upper arm bangle, bracelet, or anklet – depending on where you want to wear it. At Himalaya Vibes, you will find it in two versions:

Meaning & Tradition

Open, flexible bangles like this have long been part of jewelry craftsmanship in the Himalayan region – precisely because they can be flexibly adapted to different parts of the body and passed down through generations without size being an issue. The twisted structure reminds me of flowing water or winding paths in the mountains – never quite straight, but always moving in one direction.

For me, such a bangle has something understated: no grand symbol, no loud statement, just a beautiful piece of craftsmanship that you wear however it suits you.

Care & Application

Since it's brass, I always take off the bangle when showering, bathing, or applying lotion, so that the surface – whether gold or silver-colored – stays beautiful for a long time. To adjust it, bend the bangle slowly and carefully, not abruptly, so that the metal doesn't become stressed.
